OSTA-AECO’s 25th Anniversary Gala: Celebrating Student Voice and Reviving the Ontario Student Voice Awards 

As we mark 25 years of the Ontario Student Trustees’ Association (OSTA-AECO), we invite you to join us in commemorating this significant milestone at our 25th Anniversary Gala. The event will take place on May 24, 2025, from 6:30 to 11:00 p.m. at The Carlu in Toronto. The evening will be an opportunity to reflect on the incredible impact student trustees have had over the years and to celebrate the organization’s dedication to amplifying student voices across Ontario. 

One of the key goals of this special celebration is to raise funds to support the Ontario Student Voice Awards (OSVAs), which have been on hiatus for the past two years due to financial constraints. These prestigious awards are given annually to outstanding graduating Grade 12 students who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, innovation, and dedication in areas such as justice, environmental stewardship, the arts, sports, and student advocacy. Each award, valued at $1,000, helps empower students to continue making meaningful contributions to their schools and communities. 

Your participation in the Gala directly supports the future of the OSVAs, enabling us to continue recognizing the exceptional work of Ontario’s youth. Together, we can ensure that these awards continue to serve as an inspiration for students to lead, innovate, and advocate for a better future.
