At a time in our educational and provincial history marked by significant change and uncertainty, people of all ages and walks of life need to know that they can count on student trustees—not just as the leaders of tomorrow, but as the leaders of today. 

Last month, student trustees across Ontario harnessed the power of student voice to elect a team of leaders to represent the voice of students across Ontario for the upcoming year. In parallel, our Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officers completed appointments for the operating arm of the Leadership Team.

For nearly 25 years, OSTA has been a strong guiding hand in developing and improving Ontario’s rich education system. With the help of student trustees like you and your incoming advocacy leaders, we hope to be able to build on that track record in the years to come. Student trustees’ ongoing participation and engagement at OSTA-AECO is a key to making that happen.

This leadership team’s term begins today, August 1, and will conclude on July 31, 2025.
